At the ISH we aim to educate our students to be aware of global issues and the responsibilities that come with being future global citizens. Wherever appropriate, curricular content of various subjects is aimed towards furthering the success of the charity initiatives undertaken. The fundraising options for the school year 2011-2012 are;

Fundraising for Dance4Life, Class 9 students have done a tremendous job in 2009. Reports in Secondary newsletters tell more of their activities. 200 classes throughout the Netherlands took part in Class4life fundraising and three of the year 9 ISH classes taking part came in the top 20, with 9A taking fourth place! These are the astonishing results: Class 9c – EUR 600, class 9e - EUR 682, class 9b - EUR 1195, class 9d - EUR 2032, class 9a EUR 3300. This means that the Class4life OT raised twice as much as the whole of the school raised last year. Well done!
CAS is a required component of the IB Diploma and stands for Creativity, Action and Service. Some of our students really touch upon the spirit of CAS as it was intended by the IBO, specifically in relation to the Service aspect, and undertake rewarding activities for both themselves and the community. Such students are regularly featured in this website's Secondary Newsletters.
