Whatever your musical ambition may be, you can pursue it here at the MD music centre – solo study, Jazz band, concert band, beginner band, glee club - our centre provides over 150 hours of private instrumental, voice, and ensemble lessons per week!
The lessons take place throughout the academic year, after school hours, and are conveniently located at the ISH itself, so students may continue to their music lesson directly after school.
The teachers of the MD music center are all experienced musicians who are carefully selected for their skill, dedication and experience both as teachers and as performers.
We believe that public performance is an essential part of the learning process. Abundant performance opportunities during the school year give our students the opportunity to showcase their talents; these include the Eisteddfod annual music competition, the ISH arts festival, gala concerts, talent shows and Saturday morning concerts, to name but a few.
Each June and December there are also the MD music center Saturday morning concerts, to enable parents and friends to see their aspiring musicians perform short pieces
