My name is Hanna Harmander and I’m the mother tongue teacher for Swedish at the ISH. I’m a trained language teacher and I also work as an English B teacher at the school. I came to the Netherlands two years ago from Kalmar, Sweden, where I had worked 7 years as a language teacher for the years 7-9 (age 12 to 16).
The mother tongue lessons take place on Tuesday afternoons at 14.20-15.50 in room A023. We concentrate on reading comprehension (including oral work and vocabulary) and writing.
Students from years 7-11, who speak Swedish at home, are welcome to join the group. Please contact me h.harmander@ishthehague or Svenska Skolföreningen i Nederländerna (www.svenskaskolforeningen.nl) for more information.
