Diana Djindjikhachvili

Diana was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, where she graduated from the Z. Paliashvili Music School.

After moving to the Netherlands in 1993 she continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, studying under Naum Grubert and Marcel Boudet.

For over 13 years, she has been teaching piano with the greatest love and devotion. During her student days she developed an interest in teaching music and started teaching children and young people.

Over the years, her practice has grown and she has enjoyed watching her students grow and develop their love for music, from beginner to conservatory admission level.

Since 1999 she has been working as an independent teacher, giving piano lessons at the International School of The Hague and privately from home.

Her students perform regularly at student concerts and frequently win prizes.

Her teaching method is based on her classical ’Russian piano school‘ background, but she has adapted it to the modern way of teaching and the needs of her students.

Although the focus is on classical music, different styles are also offered to keep the lessons interesting and varied. She puts great emphasis on developing musicality in her students at any level, where technique is also indispensable.

Her main goals in teaching are to develop her students’ talents and nurture their love for music, piano and arts.

She prepares students for A.B.R.S.M exams at the BSN and Trinity at ISH (all grades).

She is fluent in Dutch, English, Russian and Georgian.
