Angela Duncan (Piano, Flute, Recorder)

With three decades of teaching and performing behind her, to Angela teaching music is a way of life. Seeing the growth and development in pupils of all ages in their musical abilities over time, is not only rewarding but thoroughly captivating. 

She Holds a BA (with honours) from the Napier College in Edinburgh, Trinity College and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Angela has worked in Iceland, the Faroes, and the Netherlands with beginners up to and including A.B.R.S.M. post grade 8 level.

She was the first member of staff to join the MDMC when it was first established in 1990 by Dr Malcolm Davies, under the name of ’The Cecilia International School of Music’, which at the time had as its motto: ’Music is serious fun’.
