Welcome to the International School of The Hague (ISH) Primary School. Perhaps the ISH
is completely new to you and this visit to our website is part of your search for a new school
for your children. Or maybe you are one of our existing parents or children, checking upon
some important details or looking for photographs of a recent event. It's also possible
that you stumbled upon us quite by accident! Whatever the reason for your visit, we hope you
find our site informative, interesting and helpful.
We are proud of our diversity, with close to 80 nationalities and 55 languages represented.
Tolerance is one of our basic underlying principles but, beyond that, we seek to create a
range of opportunities for our children, whatever their background, to integrate and interact with
each other. Our ethos of a harmonious multinational, multiethnic community learning to live and
learn together is something we all value.
We seek to maximise every child's academic and personal potential through understanding
their specific needs and learning styles. We provide challenge within a strong support
network and encourage independence, interdependence and initiative.
Our school continues to grow at a pace, providing high quality international education
for the international community of The Hague. Despite this growth, we continue to offer
the personal touch - the familiarity and comfort that is usually felt within smaller family groups.
Thank you for your interest in our school.
