Welcome to the home page of The International School of The Hague Primary School. The ISH Primary is the first in the world to have achieved accreditation from the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), there are over 750 IPC schools in over 50 countries.What is more, we were judged to be ‘mastering’ in ALL NINE AREAS! As stated elsewhere the ISH is, by virtue of being part of a Dutch national educational foundation, subsidised by the Dutch government. Though owned by the Rijnlands Lyceum Foundation, legally our Primary school works in co-operation and partnership with the Haagsche Schoolvereeniging. This subsidy allows us to offer international education at greatly reduced prices.
As a whole school we are members of the European Council of International Schools. (ECIS)
In addition the Primary school is a member of the group of the Dutch International Primary Schools (DIPS), a group of 9 international primary schools in the Netherlands who are linked with Dutch national schools and are thus government subsidised. We therefore have a lot we can learn from and share with each other, and amongst other things we share aspects of teacher induction and staff training.
Our Primary curriculum is the International Primary Curriculum. (IPC) In addition we offer Dutch lessons to all children as part of helping them to fit into the local environment and culture.
