Mathematics

The children are actively engaged in a multi-sensory, interactive programme for learning basecon the UK Numeracy Strategy. Lessons consist of mental maths activities, whole-class teaching, differentiated group tasks and a plenary. The use of practical equipment is integral to the learning of all children and the core scheme of work used is 'Abacus'
