Primary Staff

Principal of Primary School: Mr Graeme Scott

Mr Scott is from the UK. He was previously Head of a Primary School in England and, prior to that, Head of Juniors at Jebel Ali School in Dubai. He has also been Senior Coordinator and Head of Upper School at an international school in Hong Kong and worked for ten years as a teacher in the UK.

Upper School Leader: Ms Ingrid McKenna

Ms McKenna is from the Netherlands and previously taught in the Haagsche Schoolvereeniging (HSV). She trained in the UK and has taught in both the UK and the Netherlands.

Lower School Leader: Ms Sue Tee

Ms Tee has spent the past 16 years in Hong Kong working at 2 different International Schools after having taught in the UK for 2 years. She is married and has 3 children, all of whom attend ISH. 

Curriculum Coordinator and Daily Operations: Ms Pascale Hertay

Ms Hertay is from Belgium. she has taught in three different countries before coming in The Netherlands. She has worked in ISH primary since its development and has worked as a Reception and a Y1 teacher before implementing and coordinating our Mother Tongue Programme.

Year 6O: Ms Tessa Oakley

Ms Oakley comes from the UK and has previously taught in Venezuela.

Year 6M: Mr Bill McCarthy

Mr McCarthy comes from the UK and has taught in the UK and Oman.

Year 6W: Mr Rob Willis*

Mr Willis comes from South Africa and has taught in his home country as well as The Netherlands.

Year 5F: Mr John Frick

Mr Frick comes form South Africa and has taught in Belgium as well as The Netherlands before joining the ISH.

Year 5C: Mr Kevin Curiston/ Ms Mindy McCracken

Mr Curiston comes from Canada. He has taught both primary and secondary school in his home country and secondary school in The Netherlands before joining the ISH .

Ms McCracken will cover one day a week in 5C. Ms McCracken worked in The Hague before joining the ISH Primary, having previously taught in the USA.

Year 5B: Ms Dianna Bradley*

Ms Bradley comes from South Africa and has taught in a variety of International Schools in The Netherlands.

Year 4T: Mr Fritjof Troll

Mr Troll is from The Netherlands, and has taught in Dutch primary schools prior to working at ISH.

Year 4P: Ms Christine Pardo

Ms Pardo comes from Scotland and has taught in Mexico and Kenya.

Year 4K: Ms Rachel Kehoe*

Ms Kehoe is from Canada and has taught in South Korea and the UK.

Year 3J: Ms Christy Johnson

Ms Johnson comes from the UK and has taught in England and Spain before joining ISH.

Year 3C: Ms Marie-France Comeau

Ms Comeau comes from Canada and has previously taught in her home country as well as in Ireland.

Year 3W: Ms Nikki Welsh*

Ms Welsh comes from the UK and has taught in Indonesia.

Year 2J: Ms Sandip Jagdev/ Ms Celia Murray (covering maternity leave)/ Ms Maria Stock

Ms Jagdev comes from the UK and has taught in her home country as well as in The Netherlands before joining at ISH.

Ms Stock will cover one day a week in 2J. Ms. Stock comes from Sweden. She has taught in her home country and here in the Netherlands.

Ms Celia Murray

Ms Murray has moved to Den Haag from the UK, where she has lived for many years and is looking forward to working with new colleauges in her second International School.

Year 2M: Ms Marlous Sanders /Ms Cora Munnick

Ms Sanders is Dutch and has taught abroad before joining ISH Primary.

Ms Munnick will cover one day a week in. Ms Munnick is from South Africa, she has taught in South Africa and the UK.

Year 2G: Ms Gina Starkey*

Ms Starkey is from the UK and has taught in the UK, Spain, the USA and Portugal before starting at the ISH Primary.

Year 1L: Ms Caroline Lapierre/ Ms Ageeth Bosman

Ms Lapierre is from South Africa and has worked 2 years in Poland prior to joiing ISH and has worked as an assistant teacher at ISH.

Ms Bosman will cover one day a week in 1L. Ms Bosman comes from The Netherlands and has taught in the UK.

Year 1W: Ms Wintle/ Ms Ageeth Bosman

Ms Wintle is from the Netherlands. She has previously taught in the UK and her home country.

Ms Bosman will cover one day a week in 1W. Ms Bosman comes from The Netherlands and has taught in the UK.

Year 1P: Ms Helen Priestman*

Ms Priestman comes from the UK and has recently taught in Uganda.

Reception H: Ms Nicole Hoenselaar/ Mr Beren

Ms Hoenselaar is Dutch and has taught in The Netherlands as well as in Brunei, Nigeria, Oman and the U.K. She has been a teacher trainer in China for the past year and has returned back to the ISH again.

Mr Beren will cover one day a week in RH. Mr Beren has previously taught as a music teacher in Spain and at a private Pre-School in Wassenaar.

Reception F: Ms Pia Fallenius

Ms Fallenius is from Finland and has taught in her home country before joining the ISH.

Reception K: Ms Kate Forsey*

Ms Forsey comes from the UK and taught in London prior to moving to joining us here at the ISH.

Pre Reception: Ms Lynsey Brown

Ms Brown comes from the UK and taught at the HSV prior to moving to joining us here at the ISH.

Dutch Language:

Dutch lessons are compulsory for all students aged from 4 to 11. 

Ms Monique Gerretzen is Dutch and has previously taught in Poland and the Netherlands.

Ms Corien Vos is from The Netherlands and has taught in her homecountry and in Germany. She has been a cover teacher at the ISH before joining the Dutch team.

Ms Els Buesink is Dutch and has previously taught in China and in schools in the Netherlands.

English as an Additional Language (EAL):

Ms Jane Denby is from the UK and has previously taught in Oman and Brunei.

Ms Suzi Heddon is from the USA and has worked in her home country as well as in The Netherlands.

Ms Mindy McCracken worked in The Hague before joining the ISH Primary, having previously taught in the USA.

Ms Maria Stock comes from Sweden. She has taught in her home country and here in the Netherlands.

Ms Lara Rikers comes from The Netherlands and has taught in the UK as well as her home country.

Unattached CT cover teacher:

Ms Cora Munnick is from South Africa. She has taught in South Africa and the UK.

Ms Shelley Gardella is form South Africa. She has taught in South Africa prior to joining ISH.

ICT:

Ms Vicki Doamekpor comes to us from the UK, and has previously worked in her home country.

Ms Miros Silva comes from Mexico. She has taught in her home country and here in the Netherlands.

Physical Education:

Ms Ana Cardoso da Fonseca has taught in her home country, Brasil, as well as having taught in the Netherlands.

Mr Beren studied at the University of Barcelona and qualified as a Primary Teacher. He has previously taught as a music teacher in Spain and at a private Pre-School in Wassenaar.

Music:

Ms Dina Titan is from Brazil and has taught in Brazil, Belgium and Holland.

Teaching Assistants:

Ms Karen Gattucio assists in our Pre Reception class.

Ms Ms Suci Rahayu and Mr Andy Parkinson and Ms Giselle Paulo are our Teaching Assistants for the three Reception classes. 

In Year 1 Ms Sheela Newa, Ms Yasmin Stotesbury and Ms Lisa Mainas support the Year 1 teachers. 

In Year 2 teaching assistance is provided by Ms Sara Peet, Ms Jamie Carlier and Ms Karen Slingenburg. 

Our EAL department benefits from the assistance of Ms Caroline Hergelink.

Special Education Needs (SEN):

Ms Teresa Zancajo Garcia de Dionisio is a qualified Educational Psychologist, who has worked in the Netherlands for a number of years. Prior to this, she worked in her home country - Spain - and in New York, USA.

Ms Alison Scott is a British trained teacher and has worked as a class teacher and SEN specialist in the UK, Hong Kong and Dubai.

Ms Mieke Smet comes from The Netherlands and has specific expertise in learning support.

Library:

Ms Sue Eckersly is our primary library assistant. Ms Eckersly comes from New Zealand and has worked in her home country prior to joining ISH.  

Administration:

Primary Office Manager Ms Carlier

Ms Kathy is from the USA and has previously worked in Taiwan and at the ISH Secondary.

Primary Office Assistant Ms Grimm

Ms Margot comes from Australia and has previously worked in Australia and The Netherlands before joining the ISH.

Primary Office Assistant Ms Watson

Ms Marion comes from the UK and has worked in her home country and has worked at ISH as a volunteer.
