about ish students
ISH students range in age from 4 to 18 and come from more than sixty countries. The majority reside in The Netherlands for about four years, coming from and going to other international schools.
Students in our primary school, Reception - Year 6 (age 4 to 10), follow the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). From the age of 4, they begin to learn as young citizens of the world.
Students in our secondary school, Years 7 - 11 (age 11-16), represent many types and levels of ability. Some leave the school after Year 11 and successfully follow vocational courses. (see after ISH )
Around 75% of our students opt to remain at the ISH after Year 11 to continue study for their International Baccalaureate (IB). They are joined by a number of students who enter our school in Year 12 to do the IB.
Students in Years 12 - 13 (age 16-18) of the secondary school have chosen an academic course to prepare for university or other courses of higher education
