Primary children make holiday cards for elderly people

This week all the primary children have taken part in a service-learning activity to make Christmas cards for elderly people who may be isolated this year due to COVID related visiting restrictions.

It was inspired by an initiative from the ANBO (Algemene Nederlandse Bond voor Ouderen) who have set themselves a target of providing 15 000 cards that can be distributed.

Primary pupils have made over 400 cards which will hopefully bring a smile to someone’s face this festive season.
