Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
As you may be aware, today the government have announced that all schools in the Netherlands will close from tomorrow up to and including 6th April in response to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
As outlined in a previous communications, education for our students will now move to virtual learning up to the 6th April.
Therefore, as of tomorrow, Monday 16th March, we will ask all students to stay at home. Staff will set up online learning to start from Wednesday 18th March.
Should you have occupations with vital functions such as health, fire or police and feel the need for your primary school children to be taken care of at school, please contact Juliette van Eerdewijk at j.vaneerdewijk@ishthehague.nl
For Secondary students who need to collect items from their lockers, they should do so on Monday at the following times:
- Year 7 - 09:00
- Year 8 - 09:30
- Year 9 - 10:00
- Year 10 - 10:30
- Year 11 - 11:00
- Year 12 - 11:30
- Year 13 - 12:00
We want to thank you again for the patience you have shown in the past weeks. Though this campus closure will no doubt cause inconvenience for many in the community, these are essential measures to help reduce the spread of this virus which for many of us couldn't come soon enough.
Yours sincerely,
The Senior Leadership Team
