What is expected of my child?

Attendance and Punctuality

Please be informed that as a Dutch International School, we are bound by the leerplicht law. This is a law which sets out that all students from the ages of 5 - 18 must be in full time education except in very exceptional cases.

Please be sure to always keep us informed if your child is going to be late or absent by 7:30 AM on the day of the absence and each day following. You can do this by contacting ish.reception@ishthehague.nl.

If you would like any further information about this law, you can find this on the Dutch government website. For the english translations please load using Google Chrome
