Some of the facilities at ISH
Our school is situated in the beautiful area of Kijkduin, nestled in the dunes which are characteristic for the Dutch western coastline. The original building was built especially for our school, and finished in 2007. As the school has grown, additional classrooms and wings have been added to support a wide range of activities both within the classroom as well as extra curricular. Malcolm Davies Auditorium (MDA)
Inside the school we have a 350 seat theatre, The Malcolm Davies Auditorium, which can be used for lectures, assemblies and performances.
Gyms
We have two full sized gyms, with the option to divide them by means of acoustic curtains to provide four separate teaching spaces. The floor markings allow for a variety of sports to be played. There is a supporters area to be able to view any sports played from above, meaning you won't miss any of the action and you can cheer your favourite team on!
Science Labs
Our science labs are equipped with everything students need to do the experiments in the curricula. They also have all the features needed to allow them to do this safely.
Playgrounds
The location of our school provides many opportunities to take learning outdoors.
Art & Music
Our facilities support the visual arts, drama and music. We have art studios, rehearsal, exhibition, and performance spaces, adaptable to various needs. We have sound proof practice rooms for students who want to continue practicing their instruments.
