The Application Fee is a non-refundable fee that enables us to cover the administrative costs of the application process. It will not be deducted from the school fees should a place be offered.

Our students do not wear a uniform. For Physical Education Primary students wear a red polo shirt, and Secondary students  wear a house t-shirt. Both can be purchased online.

The school does not operate a bus service. However, there is a private bus company that some families use. For details please refer to the following link.

Many of our children do not speak English when they arrive and our teachers are specially trained in helping them adjust to their new environment. ISH provides a comprehensive English as an Additional Language (EAL) program from Primary Early Years 1 up to Secondary Year 10. New students applying for Years 10 and 11 will have to indicate that they are able to study at the required level of phase 3 English Language Acquisition course and cope with the MYP/DP/CP curriculum delivered in English.

No, the ISH does not have boarding facilities.

ISH has a full service cafeteria operated by caterers. Parents pay directly to them for this service. Parents who do not wish to participate in the lunch program must provide a packed lunch for their child.

When submitting the application, you will be shown the recommended year group based on your child’s date of birth. Once the application is submitted, should your child deviate from the recommended year group please inform our Admissions Officers.

The ISH language of instruction is English. Dutch is a mandatory language subject that all students must take from Early Years 1 to Year 11.  Home Language lessons are available via extra curricular activities. 

ISH offers additional learning needs for children. We suggest that you upload any documentation you have to support your application. Our Learning Support Department, Wellbeing Department and Academic staff can review and assess what we can offer your child. Support is subject to other children applying with additional needs and requirements.
