- providing cat themed snacks for our tuck shop
- coming up with cat themed ideas for lessons and
- learning a lion song in three parts!
Many students came to school on the day dressed up as one of the endangered big cats and had their face-painted (thanks to an army of Secondary artists!). They also came home a little lighter, having spent pocket money at the tuck shop. They learnt more about big cats from a fascinating documentary and sang their hearts out during the whole school assembly that celebrated the success of the day.
They raised a whopping 1,184.75 for the Ruaha Carnivore Project. Dr. Amy Dickman could not be present but sent us a 'thank you' video message and we look forward to finding out exactly our funds will help with the conservation of big cats and supporting communities in Tanzania.
