Inaugural ISH Silverbacks Day a Success
Posted 28/09/2018 17:03

On the 26th of September, the school celebrated the inaugural Silverback’s Day. The students came to school dressed up in Black, Silver or White to show their support for the Silverbacks. With music playing in the background, and a mascot greeting almost every student that came in through the main entrance, its safe to say that the school spirit was at an all-time high.

Furthermore, ISH hosted the International School of Brussels, and for the first time ever we had 7 teams competing at the same time in various sports. The results were impressive, to say the least, and the JV and Varsity teams took part in a spirited game of Dodgeball prior to their respective matches.

Overall, the day was a massive success, and we would like to thank Mr Boutayeb and the entire team for providing the students with a tremendous experience. Congratulations to all the teams who played, and a massive thank you to everyone who came out to support them.

The results are as follows:

Football:

Varsity Boys - Drew 1-1

JV Boys - Lost 1-4

Varsity Girls - Won 5-1

JV Girls - Won 6-0

Volleyball:

Varsity Girls - Lost 2-3

Varsity Boys - Won 3-2

Hockey:

Varsity Girls - Won 3-1
