On the 19th of October, all the Year 7 students enjoyed a day together marking their transition from Primary to Secondary School. Based on the themes "Who are we?", "Making Friends" and " Being New ", the year 7 students had prepared a performance with their mentor group that was to be presented to the rest of the Year Group. In addition to the performances, students made posters, brought in lovely food and they dressed up in their traditional attire.
Throughout the morning we enjoyed great performances of drama, dance and self-made films. The year 7 team was really impressed with the acts and we are very proud of the coherence, compassion and care students showed towards each other and towards making the transition to Secondary.
Unfortunately, we were not able to see all the performances because of the unexpected closing of the school. In the week of 12 November we will find a new time slot to allow for these performances to take place. Students will be informed about this in the upcoming week.
We would like to thank all the parents and students involved in making the great food and of course, the parents who came to help out on the day itself! We couldn't have done it without you.
