On Monday 28th January, the Viva Voce singers (Y10-13 choir) performed at the opening ceremony of THIMUN. These singers and a couple of instrumentalists spread their joy and passion for music through the energetic Ghanaian folk song 'Tue Tue'. Together with students from the British School of the Netherlands and the American School of The Hague, they showcased their musical talents in front of thousands of audiences in the World Forum Theatre.
Our very own Ana Vet said ’’The THIMUN performance of the ISH Viva Voce choir was an exciting experience for all of us. Together with students from ASH and BSN, the students put on an incredible performance that left the audience in awe. Through the rehearsals and performance, we discovered more about ourselves and other students. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to meet new people and join together through our passion for music and I hope to perform again next year.''
Elena Liu said ’’I enjoyed this experience a lot and I received lovely comments afterward which made it all rewarding. The feeling of performing in front of a theatre of people is truly unforgettable. The performance of the song 'Tue Tue' was full of energy and it was very fun to rehearse and perform. I am looking forward to THIMUN next year. " - Elena Liu 11G
The performance would have not been possible without the efforts of Mrs Ogusu and Mr Goldwasser. We hope you enjoyed the performance as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
