The month of March is a special one at the Malcolm Davis Music Center (MDMC). Apart from the fact that the days are getting longer and that spring is knocking at our door, it is also a month filled with music making.
On the 23rd of March, the MDMC will hold its annual Eisteddfod Musical Competition. It is a tradition which dates back to the 19th Century, where all sorts of performers joined together for a friendly competition. There were poets, actors, dancers, and anything from the performing arts.
We adopted this tradition about 15 years ago and restricted it to musicians and music making.

Our Eisteddfod competition is a full day of music making, where young musicians from ISH and other schools around the Netherlands come and compete for the chance of winning first, second or third place.
I would like to invite you all to come and admire these young musicians as they showcase their talent to an enthusiastic audience.
