We are pleased to announce that our Year 13 students achieved the Gold International Award. The students have worked hard over the past year to complete all sections of the award including physical activity, skill, service, adventurous journey and a residential. This is a fantastic achievement whilst working hard on completing their IBDP as well. We would like to congratulate Wietske, Jet, Louis, Paul, Sofie, and Sebastian for being the first group of students to achieve this level.
The official ceremony was held in Tilburg, and students from all over the Netherlands were presented with this award. The students enjoyed the lovely ceremony, and they got a chance to showcase their achievements and hear more about the experiences of the other participants. We have four other students (Stanislas, Faye, Nina, and Sasha) who are working towards completing their Gold Award, and we wish them the best of luck.

Practice Journey for Bronze and Silver
It is a busy time of year for International Award participants, with groups going out this weekend and next to put all of the skills they have learned into practice. The Bronze and Silver level students will be spending the day hiking their planned route in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, putting their navigation skills to the test, as well as their camp craft, teamwork and cooking skills. These journeys will help them prepare for their final journeys that will take place in May and June. Good luck to all involved and thank you to all the staff members that are involved in helping students throughout their award.
