Last Tuesday 9 June ISH hosted the 3rd annual TEDxYouth@ISH event. The theme was "Beyond Boundaries" and I think we can all agree that it was a resounding success! We're very proud of everyone who shared their stories, passion, creativity, skills and ideas with our community. The speakers and workshop leaders from outside the school were amazing and it is fantastic that they brought their experiences into our school. But what's also very exciting is the awe inspiring stories from students from our very own ISH, and we will look on with pleasure how they develop in the years to come.
For an impression of the day, please visit the TEDxYouth@ISH website by clicking here or visit the Facebook page by clicking here. In the near furture the speeches will be shown on Youtube, but they have not been uploaded yet. And it may be possible to view other footage but options for that are still being explored. Watch this space!

Join us on a voyage of discovery through Creative Loosduinen: including ISH students art group exhibition
More than thirty local artists - from inspired amateurs to driven professionals - open their home-based studios to the curious public from 11:00 to 16:00 on Sunday, June 7.
They show a colourful mix of art: from abstract to figurative; from photography, ceramics, paintings and linocuts to sculptures, mixed media works, embroidery and textile art.
There are also local art exhibitions at Fotoclub Retouche, Namasté Yoga, Offers Wonen & Mode, Parnassia, and at the international community centre, The Hungry Mind (Sportpark Ockenburg), there is a groups exhibition too. This year for the first time with a goldsmith in action.
Students from The International School of The Hague will be showing their artistic talents at the international community centre, The Hungry Mind. Together with their teachers, they’ll set up an art work exhibition in the portacabin next to the clubhouse.
Entry is free.
See you on the art route!

Please note that drinks will be served from 17:00 to 19:00 at HPC for enthusiastic visitors, all participating artists, project partners and subsidy providers of the Loosduinen Art Route. In this way, the art route will be building bridges between the local and international communities in the Loosduinen district.
In the programme guide you will find information about all the participants, the exhibition locations and a map of the route in the centrefold. The artists have not been selected on any particular basis.
