If you are curious, eager to learn and love to be inspired by people with various jobs, fields and interests - the Challenger Programme is for you!
Challenger programme in Years 8 to 11
The Challenger programme is for motivated and interested students from Secondary which started at ISH in March 2012. The Challenger programme is an academic enrichment programme that aims to expose students to various academic areas. The programme provides opportunities designed to broaden and extend the learning process.
The enrichment programme will be offered in various fields such as: Medicine, Astronomy, International Law, and Psychology. Students will also need to work on a Personal Challenger programme.
We would like to welcome interested and motivated students from Y8- Y11 to participate in this unique programme on Wednesdays at ISH.
Message from our new Challenger Programme Coordinator (Ms Alison Bradshaw):
Dear year 8 and year 9 students,
As you may know, Mrs van der Horst has moved to Bulgaria with her family and will no longer be coordinating the Challenger Programme. I am Ms Bradshaw and I will be the new Challenger Programme coordinator 2019-2020. I look forward to putting together an interesting, inspiring programme for you this year!
The sign up form and a more detailed description of the Challenger Programme will be sent out in next week's ISH Vibes. The programme is open to all year 8 and year 9 students - but as there are limited places available, students will be selected based on the motivation portion of the sign up form. Basically, the more interested and excited you are to participate, the more likely you selected! You can sign up here
Sessions will be on Wednesdays, 14:15 to 15:30 in D202/203, starting on October 16th, 2019.
