Our students do not wear a uniform. For Physical Education Primary students wear a polo with the school logo and Secondary students wear a “house shirt”; both can be purchased from the school’s bookstore.
No, the ISH does not have boarding facilities.
ISH has a full service cafeteria operated by Markies caterers. Parents pay directly to Markies for this service. Parents who do not wish to participate in the lunch program need to provide a packed lunch for their child.
Many of our children do not speak English when they arrive and our teachers are specially trained in helping them adjust to their new environment. ISH provides a comprehensive English as an Additional Language (EAL) program from Primary Year 1 Year up to Secondary Year 10. New students applying for Years 10 and 11 will have to indicate that they are able to study at the required level of phase 3 English Language Acquisition course and cope with the MYP/DP curriculum delivered in English.
