In October all of Y13 Music and their families attended a special event at ISH. 

This was the day they got to hear their own compositions performed live in front of them, for the first time! 

The AMSTEL Saxophone Quartet is a regular addition to the ISH Diploma Music Programme as it serves to introduce students to composing for a real-life quartet. Technology is great, but nothing sounds better than the real thing. The Quartet meets with us three times to perform, workshop and then record original student works which are then sent to the IB as part of our assessment submissions. Each of our students perform highly as a result.

The amazing part of this event is that we get to include our musical community: our parents, families and staff to then share our creations together.
